AURIX uses a minimal set of cookies with clear categories.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files saved by your browser when you visit a site. They let the Service remember your settings, keep you signed in, and analyze usage.
2. Cookie categories
The Service uses the following categories:
- Strictly necessary: authentication (JWT token), CSRF protection, session settings. These cannot be turned off because the Service needs them.
- Analytics (functional): aggregated usage statistics and error analysis. Enabled with your consent.
- Marketing: not used by default. May be enabled in the future only with your explicit consent.
3. Retention
Retention depends on the category:
- Session cookies: removed when you close the browser.
- Persistent authentication cookies: up to 30 days.
- Consent cookies: up to 12 months.
- Analytics cookies: up to 12 months.
4. Managing cookies
You can manage cookies as follows:
- Consent banner on your first visit: choose the categories you allow.
- Privacy Choices page: change your consent at any time.
- Browser settings: block or delete cookies. Note that blocking necessary cookies will prevent sign-in.
